GRIEF is something we all face, and it can feel overwhelming for both children and adults. It doesn’t come with instructions, and it doesn’t look the same for everyone.
At For Our Grieving, we recognize the weight of that experience and create space for people to feel, process, and be supported as they move through it—together.
GRIEF is something we all experience, and it can feel overwhelming for both children and adults. When we lose someone we love, a range of emotions may surface—sadness, loneliness, anger, and everything in between. Your grief journey is personal, and there is no timeline for how it should look or how long it should take.
Give yourself permission to feel at your own pace. Don’t rush the process—but don’t push away the healing either.
FOG (For Our Grieving) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports people of all ages who are dealing with loss. We provide a safe, welcoming space where you can find encouragement, real connection, helpful resources, and guidance as you move through your grief—no matter what kind of loss you’re facing. And even in the hardest moments, we believe this: there will be sunshine after this.

Tamesha Rouse, Executive Director and Founder of F.O.G. (For Our Grieving), established this 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2011 to support adults, teens, and children navigating the loss of a loved one. After losing her sister Talaya in 2010, and later experiencing the loss of her own children, Tamesha found herself feeling lost, unclear, and without hope.
She shares, “Nothing was clear to me anymore—it felt like the fog never lifted. It was one thing after another. I went to a dark place and wasn’t sure how I was going to get out.”
But in time, through her own healing, that fog began to lift. In that moment of clarity, she discovered her purpose—to help others find their way through grief, reconnect with hope, and embrace where they are in their journey.
From that purpose, F.O.G. was born—a place where no one has to walk through the fog alone.
WE support individuals and families as they cope with all types of loss—whether from death, life changes, or unexpected transitions. Let us walk with you through the fog. No matter what you’re going through, our sessions are a place where you can feel supported, understood, and not alone.
